This is a music video I made for “The Gateway/Enchanted Lands” by The Red Book. The whole video is 18 minutes long so it’s a bit like a short film. The premise is that a young woman is hit in the face by a smoke bubble which sends her into a magical dream world where she encounters an abandoned shack. It turns out that this shack is a gateway to the enchanted lands, which she then explores. While she is there the bubble becomes her companion and guide in the form of a clear floating sphere. Near the end things start to get creepy and she realizes that she needs to get out of there, but not to worry, she wakes up and everything is fine.
I shot everything in this video, using footage from some of my travels and camping trips. Locations represented are Alaska, Arizona, California, British Colombia, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, and Yukon.
